I enjoy writing short stories in my free time – it comes from my love for reading. I have experience writing poetry, short stories, and vignettes. My former school was an art school, and I chose creative writing as one of my majors. I enjoyed the prompts that were given to me to do – some were harder than others. We had to do slam poetry and give a mini TedTalk on writing. Overall the experience was good and memorable.

I have participated in writing competitions, mainly poetry in free verse. Growing up I wrote research papers on animals, typically a subject I am passionate about, particularly wolves. In the writing competition I participated in I was recognized for my poem and published in the poetry book called Quilted Voices.
